Information Security Practitioner Opportunities

My friend and colleague, Chris Grillo, the Information Security Director for Medica, is expanding his team. He sent me the following, and I thought some of my readers might be interested in these opportunities:

"Our Information Security group here at Medica is seeking an IT Security Analyst and a Sr. IT Security Analyst position. The primary responsibilities for the IT Security Analyst include the following:

* Analyzing system, network, and application logs and appropriately responding to key security incidents
* Improving, evaluating, and implementing methods for content filtering
* Management of security applications, such as web filtering software and secure mail solution
* Assist with executing and maintaining enterprise vulnerability assessments
* Participate as an active member within the Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT)

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor degree and professional technical certifications (CISSP, GIAC, MCSA, etc) and 4+ years in Information Technology (2+ in Information Security.) We are looking for a person with strong system administration background, with experience and interest in the Information Security field.
