There's No Good Reason Why Barack Obama Should Give Up His BlackBerry

If security is done effectively and correctly, this is just silly...

Pro-Con: Should Barack Obama have to give up his BlackBerry? YES

True, there is no such thing as 100% security. However, there's no good reason that Barack Obama should stop using email if he uses effective information security practices, and has proper understanding of the associated risks.

Some things certainly are not appropriate for email communications, but there are many ways in which email can be used for effective communication.

Barack Obama just needs to know and understand the associated risks, and then make wise choices with what he puts within the email messages, and know what to NOT include.
