25% Of Workers Ignore Internet Use Policies

A couple of days ago Asylum reported...

"25 Percent of Office Workers Are Looking at Internet Porn

One in four office employees accessed pornography during the workday in October, according to Neilsen Online.

This figure is up about 10 percent from last October, and now more people are clicking on adult Web sites between nine and five than during any other time of the day."

Most organizations have policies against this type of Internet access, so why aren't the policies being enforced?

Allowing workers to visit these sites is similar to allowing real-life access...these sites can give your network all sorts of viruses, malware, spyware, and other nasty electronic bugs.
