A Privacy Song About...Überveillance!

I was delighted to get a message this morning from my friends down-under, Dr. M. G. Michael and Dr. Katina Michael from the University of Wollongong.

If you'll recall, a few months ago I made a couple of blog postings about überveillance here and here.

This morning Dr. M. G. Michael pointed me to a fun song about privacy and überveillance, called "Privacy," posted on YouTube!

The song is by Three Dead Trolls in a Baggie...the band name alone made me chuckle. The song is pretty clever.

It features the covers of several of Dr. M.G.'s and Dr. Katina's papers about privacy and überveillance, in addition to several privacy books.

I was somewhat sad to see none of my privacy book covers included. :( Oh, well, I know my covers aren't as flashy. I'll need to rectify that for coming books. :)

Both Drs. Michael have also recently published some quite interesting papers covering privacy and überveillance issues. Check some of them out...
